Summer Homework
A+D
Presentation of your Personal Investigation Idea
Students always remark that choosing their own project for Component One is one of the best aspects of their Art & Design course and making a strong start by undertaking thorough research is very important. When you return after the summer break, you will need to make a short presentation (5 minutes) about what you intend to do for your main Component One project. This may include the following:
-
The title/starting point for your project
-
Some details about what you intend to do for your analytical work.
-
Photos or drawings that you have made in the holidays.
-
Anywhere special that you have been/intend to go.
-
Research/critical links that you plan to use.
-
What you intend to write about for your written Personal Study
-
Books that you have read/intend to read.
-
Interesting quotes that you have found so far.
-
Ideas about what the development/final piece might be.
-
Any ideas for the final exhibition (eg installation).
Please note that entry to the Upper Sixth year is conditional upon you completing this work effectively.
